About NRHS

NRHS is registered under the Kenyan Societies Act and was initiated during the UNIM (Universities of Nairobi, Illinois, and Manitoba) randomized controlled trial of male circumcision for HIV prevention. The society remains active in reproductive health and HIV prevention research, as well as in implementing intervention services across Kenya.

To safeguard staff and strengthen institutional resilience, NRHS seeks a reputable insurance provider to offer a comprehensive WIBA Plus cover.

Mandatory Requirements

Interested bidders must attach copies of the following documents:

1. Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
2. Current County Government Business License
3. Audited books of accounts for the last two years
4. Certificate of Registration with the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) and proof of membership
5. References from other organizations to which WIBA Plus cover was provided in the last two years
6. Certificate of registration/incorporation

Submission Guidelines

• Tender documents must be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender number and description.

• Completed documents must be hand-delivered to the tender box at the Unim Research & Training Center (within Lumumba Sub-County Hospital Compound, Kisumu) on or before the deadline.
• Tenders will be opened immediately after closing in the NRHS Boardroom, in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

• All submissions must be completed in English and accompanied by certified copies of the required documents.
• Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
• Information provided will be treated as legally binding and may be subject to verification.
• NRHS reserves the right to accept or reject any application, either wholly or in part, and is not bound to accept the lowest bid.
• Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
• All quoted prices must include 16% VAT where applicable.
