About NRHS

NRHS is registered under the Kenyan Societies Act and was initiated during the landmark UNIM (Universities of Nairobi, Illinois, and Manitoba) randomized controlled trial of male circumcision for HIV prevention.

Today, NRHS remains active in conducting reproductive health and HIV prevention research, as well as implementing intervention services in Kenya. To continue delivering services effectively, NRHS seeks to engage competent and trustworthy providers who can deliver value for money.

Mandatory Requirements

All interested bidders must attach copies of the following documents:

1. Certificate of registration/incorporation
2. Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
3. Current County Government Business License
4. Audited books of accounts for the last two years
5. Certificate of registration with the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) and proof of membership
6. Evidence of providing All Risks Insurance Cover for at least the past two years

Submission Guidelines

Completed tender documents should be:

• Enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the respective tender number.
• Addressed to:

P.O. Box 1764 – 40100, Kisumu

Submissions must be delivered by hand and deposited in the tender box at the Unim Research & Training Center (within Lumumba Sub-County Hospital Compound, Kisumu).

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the NRHS Boardroom, in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

• All documents must be submitted in English.
• Incomplete or unclear responses will lead to disqualification.
• Information provided will be treated as legally binding and may be verified by NRHS.
• Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.
• NRHS reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, in whole or in part, and is not bound to accept the lowest bid.
