The HIV Prevention Program continues to strengthen community-based HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health services.

We commenced implementation of the Female Sex Workers (FSW) Program under Anza Mapema on 5 September 2026. To date, 97 female sex workers have been screened and enrolled into the program, with 8 clients also screened for cervical cancer and 22 initiated on oral PrEP as part of integrated health services.

The program is also currently supporting 1,600 active Gay, Bisexual and other Men who have Sex with Men (GBMSM) with comprehensive HIV prevention services.

These achievements demonstrate our continued commitment to expanding access to quality, comprehensive, and community-responsive HIV prevention services for key populations.
