Anza Mapema
NRHS also runs the Anza Mapema Centre of Excellence which sits on a beautiful half acre compound within Tom Mboya estate offering the safety and tranquillity of a residential house as well as a state of art facility for research into LGBTIQ issues. It is home to the Anza Mapema study which was the largest GBMSM research in Kenya, and currently home to several LGBTIQ research studies. The Centre has; 2 reception areas capable of processing patients as well as visitors to the clinic and an additional waiting room where clients have access to infotainment as well refreshments. There are 3 counselling rooms each having 6 square metres with a layout allowing for either provision of counselling and or interviewing activities. There are 2 fully equipped examination rooms with in-built cabinets, taps and sinks each 12 sq. metres. The facility has 1 clinical trial pharmacy, 1 data management room measuring 10 sq. metres, A records room measuring 12 sq. metres together with a community engagement office as well as a coordination office each measuring 12 sq. metres. In addition, there are basic amenities including 6 toilets and 1 kitchen
